Wallhangings
are made from patchwork of Exquisite embroidered silk and
cotton fabrics, These patches are retrieved from traditional
antique fabrics and quilts. These were hand made by the
women folk of the ancient Tribes of thar in the province
of Sindh in Pakistan. The skill involved in this art has
been passed on from one generation to another for centuries.
The patchwork was started by these women to safe guard their
culture and tradition. These are available in various color
schemes. Mirror work, Gold thread work & seashell work
beautify the patchwork. While the hand embroidered work
is also available .
